Hand-carved, hand-stained paulownia wood vessel
One of one
Bold, lush, and untamed. A golden pincushion protea bursts from the center, with a tall rust heliconia rising behind it like a flame. Below them, red-tipped protea buds, spidery coral-red blooms, green pom flowers, and a pale green ornamental kale rosette gather together, each with its own shape and texture. Long fern fronds sweep out wide in every direction and give the whole piece the generous, overflowing feel of a garden at the height of summer.
The arrangement sits in a hand-carved paulownia wood vase that we hand-stained in our studio. The color deepens from walnut at the shoulder to a warm, textured amber at the base. The carving gives the wood its rich surface, and the stain brings out every ridge, so the vessel grounds all that color with natural warmth.
The palette of gold, coral, rust, and bright green brings energy to an entryway, a living room console, or an office that needs a living-color statement. It's striking against dark walls and vivid in natural light. Scent-infused in our studio, it carries a soft botanical note into the room.
It's designed as a finished piece and arrives ready to place. There's nothing to arrange, water, or replace.
