Hand-carved, hand-stained paulownia wood vessel
One of one
Rich, moody, and quietly romantic. Ivory magnolias open wide around buttery centers, and their buds stay wrapped in russet-brown sepals along bare, wandering branches. Deep plum roses sit low among glossy green leaves, while sprays of cream lilac rise along one side, soft and full against the darker blooms.
The arrangement sits in a hand-carved paulownia wood vase that we hand-stained in our studio. The color deepens from walnut at the shoulder to a warm, textured amber at the base. The carving gives the wood its rich surface, and the stain brings out every ridge, so the vessel is as much a part of the piece as the flowers it holds.
The palette of ivory, plum, cream, and warm wood brings depth to a dining table, an entryway console, or a dark corner that deserves a little drama. It reads elegant in daylight and glows by lamplight. Scent-infused in our studio, it carries a soft floral note into the room.
It's designed as a finished piece and arrives ready to place. There's nothing to arrange, water, or replace.
